You raise an interesting question in your preamble - about whether you allow yourself to believe in Astrology. For me, belief isn’t necessary to the question of whether you find can find meaning in something. Religious texts and great works of literature are full of meaning. Do I need to believe that they depict a tangible reality to find meaning in them? Hardly.
Maybe that sort of intellectual fence-sitting comes easier to an Air-headed Aquarius. I’ve been revisiting Astrology quite a bit of late to find meaning in the changes that I feel inside and around me. I’m none the wiser - but I gather that the elites are very into it on the quiet, so maybe they know something we don’t?
Anyway, water. I’m Sun in Aquarius, Moon in Aries and Cancer rising - air, fire and water in an interplay of fuelling and dampening. But I’m also a water bearer and I can definitely relate to this. It seems to have been my job to carefully contain emotions without too much spillage - for the people I work with but for myself too so that I can do that work effectively.
So I appreciate these poems more than you can know. They have a swirling quality as they shrink to their conclusions like whirlpools around your central themes. As ever, they make me feel.
Always an added gift to hear them spoken too.
Thank for letting me ramble in your comments section.
