Everything about The Meeting is incredible. The language, structure, imagery. The porridge pot hit deep as a message from childhood about the mess we find ourselves in. The sense of betrayal is palpable but your heart is so pure that you are still throwing out only love with your words after all this time.

It was a very sad day for me.

Whatever happens though, if we let ourselves become angered or disillusioned and switch off to potentially wonderful new things then we only do ourselves and the world a disservice.

The people I know that do that (and I know quite a few) are no happier for it. They just grow more bitter.

Your imagery is never boring, and may you never hit a dry spell. Your poems fizz.

You’re killing it and your words are killing me. Purity, pensiveness and passion. Apologies for being absent from your comments section for a while. Been in a disappointment hole of my own. Got me a backlog of Julie Dee to deal with now.

Oh sorry to hear of your disappointment, Christian.

Life, eh?

Or should I make that ‘people’? Cause that’s what it usually boils down to. Bloody people.😂😂

Nice to have you back though. :)

That was the one I was most proud of that I wrote this week actually. I cry when I write most of them but I really cried when I wrote that one.💔

I love that you cry when you read what you’ve written. It’s as if the words are magically crafted from the depths of your being and not your rational mind. A download from spirit….beautiful!

I love writing poems but can get a bit dark sometimes. Dandelion was a more positive one at least😂
