Life is certainly a challenge in these dark days where sometimes we feel out of control of our own lives and we’re fighting against the corporates and even our own Govt. The old adage still remains “take each day as it comes”. When feeling down take a long walk if you can, or phone a friend who you haven’t spoken to for some time. Change the course of the day…
I agree. All my friends are busy with their families in the holidays so that’s why I find it tricky not seeing them.
Not the only reason.
This week I’ve had a load more hassle to deal with from the council re my son’s school. They are refusing to give him a school escort now, which he is legally entitled to so that’s another battle.
But on the positive, a couple of evenings when son’s dad got back from work I was able to get to the gym/swimming. We had a couple of rainless days too which bizarrely for August, seems a bonus right now.
My good friend has a son (my godson) who was diagnosed with Asperger’s and she fought like a lion for years to get him statemented, finding the right school to “teach” him how to live in his and our world, which eventually she found. It was so stressful it broke her marriage but it’s all been worth it. He has turned out to be a charming young man and a very loving son with a great talent for musical theatre.
Nice 👌 I particularly liked “Wild Woods”. 😊
It’s wonderful when you wake up with words ready to flow like rivers from your lips. So it was with that one.🥰
I can only imagine!

He has his moments but don’t we all.
Like you she never gave up on him..
Good for them. Yes, it takes it’s toll for sure but when our child comes into the world, we owe them our best.
