Thank you. No rainbow today (took that a different day) but it’s doing the moody pre rainbow jig - playing murky v light 😂

Julie!!! This is TRULY a treasure, in the way that only poets can so deeply express emotion and experience of even simple things. I loved this! Keep writing, please, you have the gift. I have the soul of a poet but express myself in prose. (Poets see beneath things and into depths). You truly have the touch. Blessings upon blessings to you, Wendy

LOVE LOVE LOVE JULIE!! You've painted vivid images with your words, from the soft touch of daylight on your skin to the dance of raindrops and the hymn of birds. There's a lyrical quality in how you describe the day's nuances, from the cold as gold to the greyness that blends seamlessly with your reflections.💫🧡

Love the “romantic” view of the rain in your poem.

I’m still not keen on rain, especially as we’ve had over our fair share this summer, but I do remember when I was a kid the lovely fresh smell of rain on concrete pavements cleaning away all the dirt and dust, and there’s nothing quite like the first few drops of refreshing rain when there’s been a very hot and humid spell..

Thank you. :)

I agree. Fresh rain on hot ground is a wonderful smell.

I’m lying here in bed right now and can hear the rain but sadly it’s been quite grim. Even had the fire on yesterday. Summer eh!

That made me go all goosey 🫶🏻✨️🩷

By the way, how do you create different tabs???? 🤔

I can’t remember 😂😂 I just know I googled it all/searched substack. There are two ways of doing it - one was ‘sections’ but that sent parts out you had to opt of(or something) and the way I did it which was tags or tabs or something. I did it a few months back. I think I had to add ‘pages’ .I just know that I’ve set it up so that now when I publish, I just add the ‘tag’ and it saves it to that page. Sorry that’s clear as mud 🤷‍♀️😂😂
