On a more serious note, I know he ‘didn’t choose’ to be born into all of this but couldn’t we all say that?

None of us choose the circumstances into which we’re born. But to some extent we choose what we become and decisions we make.

Edward VIII (who chose to abdicate and be with his lover Mrs Simpson) shows us that if he really wanted he could turn his back on it all and walk away.

That would surely be the right thing to do.

As for the Savile thing, regardless of how implicated Charles was/how much he knew, at the very least it surely shows poor judgement. And is being a good judge of character not a quality people would require in a king?

Then there’s Diana. I wasn’t a fan but marrying her whilst carrying on with Madame Tampax.

So many reasons he should not be king.

SO many reasons. And if he had integrity he would stand down. Anne would be far better. William at a push. If Charles wasn't in bed with the WEF, monarchy would be preferable to the alternative, but as he is, it's rubbish! You'll be proud to know I have not called him by his new title. The only context in which I would use 'King Charles' is when discussing a Spaniel. x

Yes I’m no fan of any of the royals but I always preferred Anne out of the four children. Practical and not fake.

I will not be celebrating the Coronation or watching any of it on tv, I find it all nauseating. Neither will I be pledging my allegiance to a woke king. Charles will be a disaster as king. He is nothing more than a WEF globalist puppet. William and Harry are cut from the same cloth too although I doubt Harry will ever get close to becoming king😂

It’s wasteful, archaic, disrespectful to ordinary people and makes us look stupid and subservient to the rest of the world.

We are very good at pomp and splendour and people across the world are almost envious of us especially the Americans. A much bigger picture here though. Charles should be paying for this extravaganza himself. At a time when many people are hard hit by the cost of living crisis and the exorbitant charges for utilities. Charles travels by private jet and helicopter but demands that us mortals do everything to combat the fake climate crisis as we charge forward to ‘net zero’ at great cost. I get so angry with it all.

At least countries like Jamaica are considering breaking free of the commonwealth. The more it all crumbles, hopefully the more hope there is of us abandoning it all too.🤞

I used to think that the monarchy was far better than the alternative but how the world has changed. The Queen was nothing more than a figurehead who brought in revenue from the tourists and kept out of politics. Although you can argue that the price we pay to keep the Royal machine oiled, with all the hangers on, outweighs that. My last memory of the Queen was her giving that awful speech on tv demanding that we all get jabbed.

I totally agree with you Jan.

I predict that Charles is the beginning of the end of the monarchy in the UK. I'm not sure that we'll get "Anarchy in the UK" after that, like Julie Dee aspires to, but who knows?

Absolutely agree! And strangely enough several people I’m aware of who bought the recents scams agree with you too. Even if they believe the monarchy is an inherently good thing, they don’t want this embarrassment. Problematically they believe Willy and the Stepford wife will be a better bet. We know differently.

People love image and veneer and certainly William and Kate look the part and would refresh things, rebrand.

But it’s surely about what’s behind the facade.

All of this should have stopped long ago and at the very least when the Queen died but the media keep telling people they should love it all and then of course they start loving it all….🙄

Capturing the media early on in the campaign to destroy our autonomous lives was essential. I despise their treachery. I get irritated by those saying that people in the media outlets know what’s going on but won’t say anything to save their jobs. We’re way past that now. I’m not sure what I’m going to do yet on Saturday but it will not involved interacting with any MSM that’s for certain. Oops! Bit of a soap box moment there.

Well said as always Julie. This soap opera is hopefully losing viewers by the dozens. As for this par taking of allegiance I find very disturbing. But I find the whole thing sickening. 🤢🤮

I know. I’ll swear alright but it won’t be allegiance.

A complete joke, all of it. A joke much of Britain, sadly upholds.

I particularly cringed at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation down under telling us we were to watch the coronation and stand to declare allegiance to King Sausage Fingers and Queen Camilla Parker Bowles. The idea that this chap is divinely ordained to rule baffles all rational thought. And that our constitution required our Prime Minister to ask Charles to become our king is ridiculous. Sorry, I’m starting to sputter....

Love it! Cracking commentary! One thing we know for sure, the illuminati love shoving their glory in our faces! I'm sitting here working out how I can earn an extra £80 to buy food in May, having worked 30 years + been careful with money, they can't even economise by choosing £10 cremant over £1500 champers (no one can tell the difference) .. 🙄 have a good week anyways!

It irks me that they banned protesters today but doesn’t surprise me.

They have to keep the myth going that everyone loves them….🙄

Banning protesters is NOT a free country - GB is ruled by tyranny, a destructive rod of iron

Wanted to lighten the mood because it’s so depressing seeing people go for this.

A sense of humour is all we have sometimes to see us through!

Once again Julie, you’ve hit the nail on the head, if the general public had been asked if they wanted to fund a hideously extravagant fiasco for the rich and famous I’m sure it would have been a firm NO!

They keep trotting out the same lines - it brings tourists in, blah blah blah.

But France do alright and they killed theirs.

It sickens me particularly to see very poor people joining in with this debacle. Feel like giving them a good shake. These people would not piss on you if you were on fire. In fact they’d probably give their hands a warm.

Totally agree, interesting that I have asked quite a few work colleagues (supermarket) from all ages and none of them are interested in celebrating His Royal Sausage Fingers (and his Third Person in the Marriage Queen) getting crowned at all.

Several celebratory events have been cancelled haven’t they?

The public mood is not of celebration.

Yes they have and no it isn't, many can't afford fuel (domestic and transport) and food yet there is supposedly money to provide glittering pageant and party for those in society with the most money.
