This happened yesterday in the Co-op.

I think we all have our own version of these ‘allies’ in our lives. Some of us might be battling with an illness or caring for someone older with dementia. Some of us have issues with addictions.

We might not see these people often but when we do, they remind us we’re not alone with our struggles.

This morning I saw a white downy feather and thought of you. Not that you’re dead (obviously) but more that I know you believe in signs x

This piece really sums up how I feel about you as a writer (plus human being). It is good to know you’re out there, voicing things that other ally with (or don’t, but are jolted into considering another perspective) but couldn’t dream of expressing as well as you do. I’m sure I’m not alone in this.

I’ve not paid much attention to Substack lately and I’m aware of how much Julie there is for me to catch up on, so apologies in advance if my comments become tedious.

Aww that’s nice and of course, that’s how I feel about you too. You always say something specific rather than generic which I always appreciate.

I have been to support groups for my health and it's good to be in with people who are going through similar circumstances.Sometimes ,it is not for you, Julie keep writing you are doing good 😊 x.

I did all that when my son was little. It’s good to know support groups are out there, not everyone is lucky enough to have friends around or a supportive family. I think there’s a balance, too much of it and it can make you feel like a victim.
