Nailed it! Now do the housing crisis and mass immigration too. Where do we keep finding these useless politicians?

This is why I don’t vote. They are all the same. None have priorities that align with my own.

I was just looking at the list of May 1 candidates locally to see if there was an Independent. Sometimes they can be local folk who genuinely have the community at heart. Checked the guy out and he was previously Labour but left because they weren’t serious enough about the net zero agenda! Needless to say I shall abstain

Bet Starmer won’t be putting any of his own kids on the front line. They never do.

Absolutely right. Wars are enormously profitable and a sure fire way to crush and then control populations for those already obscenely wealthy and powerful. These parasites will never be content with how much they own and how much power they wield.

Leave em to it. We can’t save everyone. I think other countries do very nicely indeed out of our small island.

I was only a kid back then but I love the fact that Britain did not participate in the Vietnam War in the 1960s. Maybe I'm being naive now but surely that was a decision made by then Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson?

I'm not a fan of Harold Wilson, or any politician for that matter, but it strikes me as a good decision that must have saved many British lives.

A pity the current Labour government doesn't learn from history.

Labour, quite simply is not what it once was, or at least, not what people thought it was. Used to stand for the masses, plain talking. Now? They are all spin doctored beyond belief and Tories and Labour may as well be the Uniparty. If anything, Labour are worse cause they pretend to be the good guys.
