‘Warm’ :) I have a similar bitter sweet memory, not exactly the same circumstance, but similar. Something inside us compels us to do what we feel is loving and kind rather than what is expected or dictated to us xx

So sweet. Thank you for your beautiful writing and heartfelt tribute. You are so right everything seems the same until one day it isn’t and it never will be again. The time and love we share with people is all that matters. May your Grandma’s memory be eternal

Glad you ignored the lot of them and held her hand. Did any of the medical staff say anything?

I think I was just given *looks* from what I remember. My relatives were anxious but tough, some things are worth the risk.❤️

I didn’t expect to have tears Christmas Eve. So very beautifully written. Life is a bittersweet pill we swallow. Somehow we manage, don’t we. Lovely pictures. God Bless.

She looks like such a lovely lady in the picture too. They don't make Grandma's like they used to!

Yes. Whenever I ask if he can remember her, he always says “a bit”. He’d literally just turned three, his birthday being in December but I am determined to keep the memory of her alive for him. She thought the absolute world of him and he liked her too - looking at her skin, touching her, the lilt of her singsong voice.❤️
