I love this wisdom. Painting our little web with honey is such a poetic way of putting it. The psychologist Abraham Maslow would phrase it as a hierarchy of needs - you can’t self actualise when you’re cold and hungry. Jordan Peterson would say put your own house in order before trying to effect change in the world - or in short “clean your damn room”.
But I like the idea of honey or, as you say, trapping flies. This conveys a sense that you will attract towards you everything that you need. The world will come to you when you are okay with where you are. Unfortunately, we are generally encouraged in the other direction, to flee from ourselves - alcohol, drugs, porn, reality TV - and to covet a “lifestyle” that always dangles like a shiny object just beyond our reach.
It’s about magnetic attraction. About using your own sweetness and goodness to best ability, having it work for you rather than constantly breaking your back trying to get more of something.
A unique talent.
Thank you
Never thank anyone for recognising your talent.

She's got a pretty incisive insight.
And a unique way of expressing it.
That’s right. I always liked the saying;
“Yesterday is history
Tomorrow is a mystery
Today is A GIFT
That’s why we call it
THE PRESENT”
Thank you lovely. Appreciate that you did that :)
