I just wrote this for Facebook and posted with an image of light amidst dark woodland❤️

“Today is whatever you want it to be.

The birds still sing.

The leaves still dance.

The breeze is still cool on your face.

Taste the hours with your own tongue.

Savour the sweet.

Refuse to be force-fed the bitter, the sour, the salt.

We weren’t all born with silver spoons.

But

The gold in each moment, belongs to everyone”

A vintage clothing shop near me is opening tomorrow, they announced this on a Facebook post. Seems that's the way the world works now, unbeknown to me! Anyway, a riot of angry emojis and spleen-venting comments ensued. Apparently, it's very disrespectful to sell used 501's tomorrow. Who knew? :-)

It's the "selfish" for not wearing a mask, repeated. It's not unity they want, it's conformity - something I've always struggled with. Seems there's quite a few of us like that and that makes me happy.

Another great piece, Julie.

Oh, I'm working tomorrow :-)

Crazy times. Used 501’s, I’m coming over all Nick Kamen😉😂

A profound read Julie. I wonder just how many people realise they are not mourning for a person but for a life stolen away from them? Also in my case, dreading what life potentially holds with KC2 as a figurehead. I’ve made so much headway at home with the truth of the scams of the past two years but now I’m fighting on another front with this current frenzy.

It’s an unwelcome concept for many to digest. As with government, the idea of a monarchy as self serving and heartless institution is still a concept that disrupts an image well crafted and absorbed over many years.

Good luck with your endeavours x

Well said. It appears that the conditioning is so entrenched that many crave the need to deify those who, in reality, have little or no connection to their lives and could literally be regarded as parasitic. A sort of Stockholm Syndrome.

Yes it’s a sad truth that many of those doing it and defending the monarchy (and other establishments) are often those most screwed over by them.

Powerful! I love how you bring forth the image of the silenced child who goes along to get along. I just ended a 30 year trauma-bonded relationship. I finally said enough. My child has learned to speak.

We are in a peaceful place because it really was done after the U activism we did together. I had to reclaim my self and soul through the writing of my book and honor what was before I could leave.

Maybe this feeling of emotions for so many will allow them to process their trauma enough to be able to see more clearly.

I keep hearing that we are here for the remnant... so maybe not. But the remnant will. And we are here for them.

I love the way you paint a picture with your words.

Thats great you’re moving forward after your considerable experience and that you’re challenging yourself with creative and other endeavours that will assist others.

The child does indeed learn to speak and the whole mask thing (shitshow part 1) has been very symbolic regarding this.

Thank you. We have had it rammed down our throats how we should feel. Time to examine some other possibilities and explanations of what we see

Very well said 👏🏼

As as if by magic, the nation’s heartbreak ended as abruptly as it began. Overnight, the MSM stopped talking about the queen and so did the public...moving onto the next fear-mongering distraction now. Even the apparently beloved queen only got 2 weeks of over-the-top attention!
