All poems are food for thought, Julie, but Breeze was special. Thank you for sharing 💙🙏💫

I thought I’d post that one last because that felt like a ‘coming out of the fog’ one for me. The cycle complete.

Breeze, the desire I feel to be swept away by the wind, and to dance freely and journey without constraints. But anchored down by life's challenges and responsibilities, I maintain hope that one day I’ll break free! Thank you Julie, beautiful poem! ✨💖✨

I love it! And I am very happy and I just came across it! It seems a little slow today.

Love your poems and photos. I am sun in Aries too. I feel contemplative ALL the time though! It's a blessing-and a curse!

I think that’s my Venus in Pisces tbh but yes I am prone to overthinking for sure. I hear you!

The photos in this piece were stock photos but found them based on my nostalgic/dream like mood.

Thank you so much for commenting. :)

Beautiful poems again Julie, especially “When you’re free”. There’s nothing better than meeting up with a friend and having a non stop chat, but these days it seems a quick text message can sometimes replace this pleasure. That’s why I still write letters and send birthday cards, and you’re right we are so recognisable by our handwriting...I know who it’s from before opening a card etc.

From an older person, don’t worry about a purpose in life. I’ve learnt that sometimes we are just here for others, to be a friendly face and a shoulder to cry on. For you, you’ve been given the gift of poetry which evokes different emotions and memories in others. That seems like a pretty good purpose to me! Have a happy special birthday and soak up all the best bits of life...

Oh thank you so much for your kind words, Madeleine.

Yes purpose is a human obsession isn’t it? Animals don’t give these things a second thought do they?

Yes it’s my birthday in the middle of April then I have my trip away towards the end. Very much looking forward to it :)

Enjoy your trip away..

Just another thought on “purpose in life”, referencing that film shown every Christmas “It’s a wonderful life” and how your life affects others. What if you’d never been born…

A splendid collection of contemplations. Maybe the notion of purpose is too heavy to be anything other than tongue in cheek about? I like to think that your purpose is creative expression, which isn’t to do with specific achievements. If we are spiritual beings having the experience of humanity, then surely our purpose is just to live and learn in order to grow in spirit. To take it all in, to notice stuff, heed what your heart tells you. That way, everything is a sign - like the breeze was. You noticed it, felt it and expressed it to others. Thank you. 🙏

Thank you. :)

Yes, I watched a Fb mate’s video of wild silverback gorillas the other day and loved their serenity. They felt no need to do anything else other than just be. I mean yeah when the shit hits the fan, I’m sure they step up,but so often people are concerned with hypothetical rather than real situations. #Gorillagoals 😂
