That's funny/interestingly I'm similarly drawn to and take photos of dry stone walls, and painted one from memory in oil, I've not painted for years but it was a surprise to me how I love these walls and how good it turned out, but been too scared to paint another in case it wasn't as good as the first
What a beautiful perspective! The words as well as images. I've been drawn in my photography to reflections, textures, and things emerging from mist or fog. It might be worth investigating why this is.

I think some of us feel being penned in - or resist the threat of it - more than others.
