Some poems are like art. When you look at a work of art it catches your eye. This poem caught my attention, and I slowed down to take it in. I don't write a lot of poems, but I love to read them.

Exquisite Julie. I especially love how the repetition of the motif “enduring sky" emphasizes the sky's unwavering strength. Wonderful emotional depth. ✨💖✨

Thank you, lovely. I wasn’t sure whether to call it ‘redeeming sky’ or ‘absorbing sky’ but in the end went with ‘enduring’. :)

The different names gives it other meanings. I think I gravitate to Enduring Sky. 🤍💙🤍

Thank you. There’s a time for sarcasm and humour (which I’m prone to) but this isn’t it. My country needs love right now.❤️

Love this. It’s like a hymn. Melodic and exaltatory.

Beautiful.

A good reminder to focus on the 'enduring' aspects of life like the sky and the sea. It certainly puts all the nonsense around us in its proper context.

Exactly when we look to nature we see so many examples of this. Things that remind us. Spur us on.

They are definitely dicking with it these days, hence my line about the trails. I think the sky does her best to recover.
