I am American who has only spent a few months in the UK. My couple weeks wandering the countryside was much more enjoyable than the museums and shops of London. A hard subject to write about, and you did well.
I don’t recall reading this one before. It is a piece of prose yet so poetic. I suppose it might best be described as an ode. It presents an interesting philosophical question (without formally posing it) of when prose becomes poetry, craft becomes art etc. but it also contains the sense of how such questions become obsolete when we embrace Mother Nature - these petty categories cease to matter.
Yes! Sometimes I call a post ‘Poems’ and think “But IS this one a poem?” and often I’ve no clue.
Same goes for other stuff. Then you start to overthink it, and for me, my Pegasus is wing clipped by telling myself it has to hang out in the stables cause it’s a fucking horse.😂
I don’t really like categories and even with words themselves, I find myself inventing them or changing nouns to verbs etc, cause why not?
Language in both narrow and broad sense, is all evolving anyway so why not just do whatever you feel and be part of that growth rather than restricting it by conforming.
Beautiful ❤️ Getting out and appreciating what nature has to offer is so underrated. Exactly why it’s not pushed by Gov, media or Pharma for mental health. Take a pill instead to make you ‘better’ rather than a walk in the fresh air! x

Yes it’s massively different to London, that’s for sure. Both have their pluses but these days I am happier living somewhere more serene.
Especially these days, unfortunately. Same story as in the big cities in the USA .They are fun for a few days, but I wouldn't want to live in either.

Gorgeous. The heather is blossoming too. Reminds me immediately of Purple Haze. One of my all time favourite songs.
Yes it’s a lovely colour at the moment, yet to be dried and faded.

Fab!
I’ve never been there. Sounds like it’s maybe worth a visit. Yes music is a fabulous thing to share.
My son’s computer has been broken for two weeks. I won’t lie it’s been a bloody hard two weeks😂😂
Thankfully his uncle came round and fixed it tonight 🙏🙏
I’m happy to sacrifice him to Big Tech now and again if it gives me a break.😂
Glad you had a great day today. These pics are from today so yes I was deffo “Mother Earth mum” today.
