Message from a tulip
A little verse to see you through things you didn’t choose, this Tuesday x
To focus on the sunshine
Or contemplate the frost?
The blessing of the light ahead
Or what we may have lost
The days braid dirt with beauty
Twisting melodies of blue
We learn to bend or else we break
Each flower knows it’s true
I feel sad at how some things have gone for me personally recently, but filling my days and making plans is how I handle that.
“Hope not mope” is my new mantra!
‘Spare’ time is like leftover wine. It shouldn’t exist! So I’m stuffing it full as a springy, gorgeous, patchwork cushion. Making it comfortable, useful and beautiful.
Yes. If you ever have tulips in a vase with other flowers, you’ll notice after a day that the tulips will be taller. Survivors!
