And I see I have lost a subscriber upon opening that email.

Well, good!

Let’s filter the water a little more, hey?

If you can’t cope with strong opinions that might be different to your own, then you’re in the wrong place, ‘pal’.

What a sickening story. The only person responsible here is the woman who aborted her child. Lockdown and depression have gone hand in hand but they cannot be used as an excuse to kill a fully formed baby. Having carried this child for so long, the woman should have given birth and then had the child adopted if she could not cope. Some things in life are unforgivable and this is surely one of them. Women’s rights groups in America have been campaigning to have the right to abort a child up until full term. These people are truly evil.

It was a deliberate distortion of the facts to bring about an end to a viable life.

And yes, her being in jail means the kids don’t see their mum and maybe she’s a good mum (usually). I don’t know……. but to not call this shit out for what it is sets out the stall of where we take it next, and abortion at any gestation period cannot be allowed to be normalised.

I absolutely agree Julie.

The truest of true words Julie. So many of us have effectively been silenced by friends and family these past few years because we hold views that contradict the propaganda spouted by the compliant and corrupted media. Views that have sounded crazy to those suffering from terminal cognitive dissonance. I will admit that I eventually chose the path of least resistance to maintain a cordial relationship with family but you are right, I’m failing them by doing this. I’ve got to be tougher now. All of the awake community needs to.

If opinions shape the direction the world goes in then it’s crucial all our voices are heard. I’ve stuck this one on Fb too.

People are falling over themselves to ‘be kind’ so much that they have forgotten right and wrong. Of course it will have slightly different meanings to different people but we can’t lose it to misguided compassion.

I share your repulsion to this murder though I see no issue with the old saw of “condemn the sin not the sinner”.

Another observation - why are we being told this story by the media, especially when other news gets buried? Someone always has an axe to grind.

Yes, it’s a sorry state of affairs whatever way you slice it.

Definitely time to start judging. Non- judgement is simply licence to let people do what they want without fear of repercussion.

Quite Right

It definitely is a time to judge. This is an absolute hateful story. Any person who thinks this murder that's exactly what it is murder is ok,needs to give their head a wobble. Just when you think society can't sink any lower.

The MP defending it and wanting to overturn the law disgusted me more than the woman herself because she clearly wants to make it by the by.

This ain’t smoking pot we’re talking about decriminalising. This is deliberately killing an almost fully formed human infant.

I feel your pain and anger Julie. I will judge the action but not condemn the individual.

We have all done bad things. I certainly have and when I do so again, I hope people call me out on it, refer me back to my own moral compass.

Devastatingly accurate. Well said. The truth hits like much needed slap in the face. You might want to look at Stigma. Another concept that’s gone the way of judging.

You’re right.

Stigma serves a purpose. Its purpose is to be a social badge worn by wrong ‘uns.

Yet somehow it’s become fashionable to wear it proudly like the new black. *Shudder*

Strong dynamic writing, superb! Re abortion in general if you don't want a baby don't open your legs, has always worked for me - I mean sex makes babies, pretty basic! You want the one, put up with the result is how I see it

Mind you, the current shower in Parliament could all have been aborted at great benefit to Britain, there's different ways of viewing things ..

Yes far too much Pride nonsense these days which filters into lowering the age of consent & opening brothels for kids .. it is time we stood against all this normalisation and also the vast money squandering (read laundering) of this Tory party - they get away with anything, £30m handouts to a mate who runs a pub, £37bn test + trace, where did that go? £40k on Filipino lunches for a month? Er, hello?

I believe there are times females need access to safe abortion. Sadly, some are raped and some of those are young girls, so I wouldn’t advocate scrapping it but I don’t agree with the way it’s become for some, a life style choice rather than a final option.
