This is so true. It’s something I have become conscious of recently. The way some people take someone’s story, someone’s outpourings, and make it about themselves. ‘Oh I’ve got one like that’ ‘oh that happened to me’. Sometimes it’s good just to listen and not make comparisons. Another thing that interests me is the way that as folks get older they need the security of familiarity even more acutely. Everyone has to be compared to someone they know, ‘she looks just like’, ‘he reminds me of’.

Eek! I’m rambling now….reminds me of my old granny….😂😂😂

I like that observation. Yes it’s true that. And (and I totally feel myself doing this…) simultaneously everything is “not the same as how it used to be”.😂😂

Comes to us all!

The ‘white feather’ thing is very popular. People buy into that. That it’s an angel or something.

I think what we do, whether we interpret all depends on our own spiritual or religious leanings or lack of them.

I think the trick is to realise you are doing it. It’s fine to make something beautiful out of the everyday but just be aware that’s what you’re doing. You’re crafting something.
