I’m recommending you….. and removing most of my recommendations for larger, more famous writers here. The smaller writers need to support each other here💜
Thats what I mean. It’s one of the things I’ve discovered about myself - I dislike tourist traps. Galápagos limit the number of visas every year so it never gets too silly.
I looked at the photo of your face and could feel the relaxation, Julie. This is a lovely piece of travel writing and the videos and pictures are incredible. I agree. Travel is never a waste of money.
The articles I linked to at the bottom go into it all in more detail. I was only there 8 days and managed to write 5 long pieces. I think that shows you how crazy about the place I was😂😂
Oh wow! That’s always been on my list 😊
Mine too. Did not disappoint. Was incredible. Best place I’ve been, all things considered.
I'm sure it is.
However, you're likely to see more lizards and insects in Westminster than you ever did a year ago.
This is very true, Mark. And sharks and other predators.
You must try the Mountains of Everest . I'm there ...
I love it here .
Maybe I will one day :)

Thank you. That’s kind. Glad you enjoyed the piece ❤️
What a neat place to be transported to this evening! Thanks for taking us all there Julie!! Totally enjoyed the trip! 💓
What an amazing trip Julie and happy you had such a wonderfully relaxing time.
Yes, I felt such harmony with nature.
Travel writing at its absolute best. You fill up our senses. I hope you get the room to roam again soon.
Thanks. I’m having a couple of days in Dorset in mid May. Not quite the same but very much looking forward to it.
Enjoy. I was down there for a memorial last summer. Stayed at the same pub that the character in my novel did, which I got a bit of a kick out of.
Excellent! I have only really been to Bournemouth but this time I wanted to visit the Jurassic coast; Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Portland Bill.
It looks simply amazing. Can’t wait to see it with my own eyes.
Are you visiting?
I just started a retirement travel wish list and I love skipping a household project for exotic travel.
I hear ya :)
Truly once in a lifetime stuff for so many people. What an experience to have had!
Oh man! It was off the charts. I love a far flung place, the further away, the better.
I hear you… I’ve always liked the idea of seeing some of the Fijian islands… the problem is I don’t think I’d want to come back 😂
Fair play for you to taking the trip though, love seeing people truly live their life 🙌🏼
Yes, I have been to Hawaii but would love to visit another pacific island. I think maybe Vanuatu appeals because of its remoteness/lack of tourists.
Vanuatu would be bucket list material too, especially as it’s largely unseen by the majority of the world.
I really hope you make it out there and love every moment of it!

Too true… and having seen some of these landmarks, they’ve all been commercialised and monetised… I’m on holiday to get away from that shit 😂
You’re the only person I know of that’s ever made the trip, it’s certainly a unique story and I hope you continue to make them!

It looks amazing. All those seals! Just wow.
I know! That was the busiest bit for seals/sea lions. Really lovely to see though.
......and yeah ....if you wanna check out trained clapping seals in the US , DO check out Pres. Trump's cabinet !
