I like wearing green in Spring, makes me feel like a fresh flower about to bloom. I also wear it when I feel incubatory, optimistic.
I’m a great believer in wearing the colours you feel drawn to, the passion of red, friendliness of yellow or orange, the no nonsense of black and white….
When spring arrives I always look for crocus posts. They don't grow where I live now, so seeing them brings me joy knowing that color has begun to reemerge from the grey of winter.
I think it’s daffodils that are always shooting up a month before I expect them. I’m not complaining, it’s a good reminder of the light at the end of the Seattle rain tunnel
It feels like I am standing in your kitchen looking out of the window. I love the little dots of crocuses that appear this time of year, promises of cold days coming to an end, but the way you have expressed this one all on its own standing defiantly is perfect .
Lovely! Love that image "like a newly struck match about to set the world on fire." Every spring, that sense of hope surges, and even in the waning days of winter. Here in California everything is drenched in rain and so green! All the colors deeply saturated and vivid against a gray sky. Luckily here on the central coast we've not witnessed the worst of what that atmospheric river has brought to the rest of the state. A wee earthquake this morning I heard, though didn't feel it. Still, I'm with you: green and alive, I love it.

Yes; one idea sometimes shows up unexpectedly and is the beginning of a new poem or script, etc.
I am trying to capture those ideas when I can.
Excellent. As you should!

They are lovely aren’t they. Encouraging.😊
Thank you for the beautiful encouragement, Julie!
I am glad you appreciated:)
Soul stirring words. I hope the bees follow soon.
Absolutely!
Love them. 🐝
This is so full of joy and hope. A very welcome read in the late winter slump! 🌻
I’ve felt in good spirits today, hope you are too x

Yes it’s like these things just explode all of a sudden, catch us unawares.
Lovely. It’s odd but I find one of the best times of the year is that anticipation of the Spring that’s on the cusp of manifesting.
Me too. My birthday is April so this time of year, I feel so full of promise, it’s really quite lovely. I’m enjoying feeling the bubbles rise :)
lovely 🌿💚🌿💛🌿💚🌿
Oh I love this!
Oh good. Wanted to share some joy 🥰

Bless you. If you were looking out at the crocus, I’m sure you’d think that bed looks a right mess, need to pick out all the dead leaves 😂😂
mine is too, been off work with a shoulder injury and haven't been able to do anything! x
I’m just a lazy fucker 😂
lol oh I am that too, a total fair weather gardener!
