I had a full on phobia of moths when I was younger. I have trained myself out of it to the extent that it doesn’t affect my life but I still don’t care for them. Yet butterflies were never an issue. It’s always fascinated my logical brain as to quite where my instincts make a distinction. But what we are drawn to or repelled from doesn’t seem to be required to make any goddamn sense, does it?

I love this. I try to look for the gold in people around me, sometimes it shimmers brighter than others but it’s still there xx
