Hi Julie, no worries. I've given a link to Soundcloud page to a piece I wrote for Silas Nogood's (Twitter user you may know) poetry

https://soundcloud.com/canyonlands1

The piece I'm writing based on your poetry is very different to the above it's a lot more classically influenced. I should have a first draft by end of next week I can link you. You can let me know if interested in developing it

Hi Julie

Apologies it's taken me longer than I hoped to contact you. I think Sepharina (Twitter mutual) may have passed message on that I was really interested in setting one of you poems to music. your poems are awesome but particularly love to set I should be over you. I have a piece of music that I'm writing at the moment that I think would be ideal but would be cool to exchange ideas if you are up for it?

Hello,

Sorry in the delay getting back to you.

Thanks for the interest in my poetry.

Do you have a website or something where I can find the kind of stuff you do? Seraphina has said lovely things about you. Or even a link to your Twitter?

(My ban means I can read Twitter, it just won’t let me post stuff). Thank you.

Phenomenal poetry as always, Julie. You’re up there with the best of them. We don’t deliver here hits hard. The enduring disappointment. The near nonchalance with which another can be have the rug pulled from under them. Committed efforts and plans turning to dust. It’s almost preferable to be betrayed and have a focus and excuse for rage, than just a blameless waste of our hopes.

Yeah. I find this time of year difficult. Personal memories (that aren’t so personal these days😂😂),financial and social pressure of Christmas and my son’s birthday which is also in December coupled with the natural inclination to go within.
