What a beautiful walk! Sorry to hear you are once again battling regarding your son but you are a fighter so I know if anyone can win it is you x
I saw a hand painted card of a little hedgehog in a woolly hat and wellies with a similar message to your Facebook one … ‘When life gives you rain, play in the puddles’ - it sounds to me like you do that :)
I watched it back and my voice just gets quicker and quicker. Start off all zen chill then just start chuntering on like fuck as I get going. 😂😂Probably very much as I do in real life.😂😂
Thanks for the ramble - both metaphorically and literally! Our kids are all through school now (yippee!) but we had a couple who had SENs; it wasn't an easy ride so I hope your struggles are brief.
Your profound point (that you couldn't spit out as eloquently as you normally would) is golden and one that has taken me until middle age to learn. For all my life I expected happiness to be waiting around the corner when the current troubles have been overcome, but of course, there is always that next problem. Accepting that this is how life is meant to be and that the obstacle is the way has been a paradigm shift which has brought a measure of contentment to my life.
I love the colour of the sky in the opening bit. Morning had just broken and the colour was exquisite. One of those colours it’s hard to define really. A sort of tawny, palest pink.

Yes I suppose it’s been said it many ways over the years hasn’t it the old ‘get lemons - make lemonade’ thing but yes
We have a saying in our house:
“There’s always something!
Then…….there’s nothing.”
Which sums it up quite well and is worth remembering too.
Absolutely! X
That's beautiful!!
Sorry to hear you're going through more shit with your boy ♥️
On a more positive note you should think about becoming Marks n Sparks new voiceover!!! You'd rake it in!! Lol xxx

Happy Friday to you too Julie. What a beautiful walk. My husband says shit happens but we will deal with it. Thats what we do.
Precisely. I suppose it keeps us occupied eh? Suitably challenged.
It can be hard to compartmentalise when you have a lot on your mind. Good luck with the current battle xx
Thanks. A few years in I feel like a pro at this now - sadly.
Still hopefully it will be resolved soon.
Fingers crossed for you and your son x
