Have it cut cleanly through bullshit, yet remain shining and intact. Remember to sharpen it! A good woodsman makes the saw do the work, he does not drain his own physical energy.

❤️Use your voice as a bird.

Be the song thrush who sweetens someone’s morning coffee, allows them to dream. But when needed, be sure to be the noisiest cockerel on the whole damn farm.

❤️Wear your presence as a rich, velvet robe.

Embrace the heaviness you sometimes feel as price for the warmth, texture and depth you exude. You have earned this gown!

And finally,

❤️Hold your time on earth as a goblet of wine.

If it seems bitter, remind yourself all the best wines take time to get going. Take a minute to consider each individual note that makes up the sum.

One day, it will run out and how much have you really, truly tasted?
