We need to talk about Kevin
Dealing with how most people see the so-called ‘Cost of living crisis’.
Okay guys, we need to talk about Kevin.
I keep meaning to post an update on Shitshow but hell, it’s like walking into a teenager’s manky bedroom.
As in
“Where to fucking start?”
So we’ll start with ‘Kevin’ - who represents the psychology of most of the nation - and Kevin’s ‘room’.
The curtains are closed, there are dirty mugs knocking about, rank socks strewn across the floor but still, Kev remains distracted on his X box or rattling one off under the duvet.
We didn’t want to be right.
About
the way Govt would find other ways of keeping us housebound via fear of our environment, exploiting our compassion and ensuring we’re brassic.
damage caused by lockdowns and experimental jabs far outweighing any perceived benefit.
the way chucking money at wars, vaccines, Brexit, a jubilee and furlough would empty the pretendy national piggy bank.
The problem is, unlike an actual teenager’s bedroom, we can’t close the door and walk away.
Kevin’s mess encroaches upon our own space.
We’re reluctant roomies.
We can aspire to self sufficiency (no-one watches more escapist off-grid Truther porn than I do), but for the minute, most of us are stuck here with mounting bills, shrinking wallets and rapidly disintegrating public services.
Our Sylvanian families are morphing into Dickensian ones before our very eyes.
So…..what to do?
Do we tell those who went along with shenanigans - flag waving, door step claps and paid asymptomatic illness leave - that they deserve all they’re getting?
“I told you so”?
Alexa is popular. Smart Alec is not.
And let’s face it, what good does it do?
Do we join Kevin’s ‘cost of living’ protests? We’ve certainly common ground there.
As in, being skint.
Difference is, the left blame everything on Brexit and Russia, which nicely exonerates their own participation in matters, doesn’t it?
It also presents a ‘solution’ end game of a Labour government and us all living happily ever after.
Hmm….Is that cutting ice with you?
Is the answer to not pay our bills, perhaps?
To suggest we even have a choice in that, hints at a privilege we may not know we have.
Is it our role to simply offer kindness when the collective heart and spirit is broken by all we predicted?
From talking to those who have alternative views to me, it’s clear that many now believe in the same ‘conspiracy theories’ I do.
The difference is, that they believe them to be inevitable and to have occurred organically or by coincidence, rather than design.
The mantra of a generation “It could have been so much worse” has ensured a harm minimisation mentality has successfully infected more people than Monkey Pox, Covid and HIV combined.
But it’s a mindset with no real basis, a succinct verbal summary of Neil Ferguson style modelling.
Fanny about with enough ‘virtual Lego’ - be it about climate change, the spread of a pandemic or economic catastrophe and you can construct extremely convincing scary castles in your own air.
Castles that don’t just stop you flying but clip your wings completely.
People seem to have no issue with the fact that these fantastical scenarios and soundbites they repeat religiously, are brought to them by the same bunch who have lied to them their entire lives.
The same Sylvester McMonkey McBeans who ruined their childhood with AIDS iceberg adverts and threats of nuclear wars. The ones who predicted that by now the Maldives would be under water.
Behavioural psychology ‘nudge units’ no longer nudge. They aggressively march people towards their own cliff edge.
Let’s flip it here for Kevin.
Could it be really so much worse? Really?
How do we know this?
Perhaps……just perhaps…..it could it be so much better!
How do we get there?
By believing in the words of those who have duped us for so long….or in ourselves and our own instinct and ability to research and distinguish?
There is a much less talked about yet far more urgent crisis right now - the cost of NOT living.
Our planet is abundant.
It is in the interests of those who profiteer from its plunder, to have us believe it’s not. It’s that simple. If we take what we need and no more, we’ll be good.
And money?
Money is just a concept invented by humans because not everyone wanted a flute carved from bone in exchange for a basket of berries.
In short, we resolve this by rejecting the stories of those who have proven themselves to be untrustworthy.
We must get back to the garden. OUR garden.
I believe our role right now is to take the sting away by offering hope and helping others see the possibility of a brighter future.
To remember that attending to our own thoughts and life is paramount to manifesting this.
What’s that?
Kevin’s not for having any of it?
Look…..Kevin ain’t coming out of his room until he’s out of Pringles.
But let’s face it, he’s fast running out of Pringles.

Absolutely. We reject them. In essence, that is all we need to do. They clearly don’t want us to take personal responsibility for anything and they certainly don’t want us to be creative. They want us to be subhuman. Trans-human. Keep being the opposite of what they want. Keep creating.

Here is how to off grid with your own shack made of cow poo -- love this lass, grows her own goats!
This post is way better than the bilge I used to read daily in the Daily Telegraph columns in LD1! You really have it! And nailed it! There is no excuse whatsoever for the financial mess GB is in, this should be a time of prosperity - pandemic hoax, fake war footage, obscene energy hikes will put shops out of biz, madness yet Westminster remain en situ (I'd bl0w them up) ..
Hard to know how this winter will pan out, surely Brits must be getting fed up but it always seems, as long as there is credit card for Christmas and a Jan booking for the Maldives next July, nobody cares!!! Unbelievable! Well we will be getting under ppl's skin with our niggling ..
Trick is, we must learn all we can about Common Law to secure our parallel society - you are NOT under contract to pay a TV licence + electricity water + gas are free natural elements
Get ready to source your own! I drink natural free spring water from Malvern - 6x a year I take 5 litre botts (20+) to the spring on my way around GB + fill up with God's free gift .. helps me keep grounded about what life really means - try findaspring to source water
