And in true blood sport fashion, willing media hounds Katie Hopkins and Tommy Robinson have been released back to Twitter in time for the big weekend.

Yay!

Not so much stirring the pot, as a full on ‘Shake n Vac’, Elon Musk has put the freshness back into racial hatred and divide.

I bet he’s doing a housewife dance over his filthy little rug right now as he hoovers up the dirty dollar.

Don’t get me wrong, as a free speech absolutist, I don’t believe either should ever have been banned, and certainly since Shitshow, Katie has lots to say that resonates.

BUT, as ever, it’s not the WHY,

But the WHY NOW?

Much as I’d like to believe Elon genuinely wants the best for the world, I get that same ‘Spidey Sense’ I did when Captain Tom’s daughter wanted to use charity money to build a spa in the grounds of her mansion to ‘help others’, when Anna Nicole Smith married that old dude ‘for love’. I’m an open minded gal, but there are some things I just ain’t ’avin.

I’m no longer on Twitter, but know from others, that hate is being whipped up faster than a fake pandemic.

Governments start conflicts.

Useful Idiots prop them up.

Zelensky, is now as popular as Prince Harry at a family party. Move over kid, no more lemon and blueberry ice cream for YOU matey, didn’t you hear there’s a new war in town?

And here’s the thing.

There always is.

But it’s only certain ones at certain times we hear about, isn’t it?

Funny dat.

I imagine the ‘veteran’ videos are doing the rounds again. I don’t meet genuine veterans and those wishing to honour loved ones and the military, but rather those of bovver booted meat heads with the Grant Michell style voice overs.

All about ‘respect’ innit.

Except often, it’s not.

Our lads, our CUNTree.

I remember the first time I heard that.

“Where does it grow, and how often does it blossom?”

A young squaddie once said to me, nudge nudge, wink wink. Oh how we laughed!

But many of us aren’t laughing any more.

The fabled ‘Cunt-tree’ not only exists and is in full bloom, but is actively fed and watered.  And the saddest thing is, it grows tallest on the genuine concerns of real people.

Worries people have become reluctant to voice for fear of being aligned with the hate they also despise.

Whilst Suella and co couldn’t give a Sycamore Gap about homeless people on the streets, the public are rightly enraged and triggered. The ‘Cunt-tree’ grows strongest on the stinking matter of a decomposing Britain, crumbling values and a festering economy.

I would be telling half a story if I neglected to mention there are bad apples and baiters of many camps and colours. I have worked in offices were terrorist videos were cheered on, celebrated.  I have been to Israel and seen for myself, vitriol on both sides.

So what to do?

We can no longer rely on policing to provide a non biased service. Years of in-house conditioning by organisations such as ‘Common Purpose’ have ensured that forces are no longer about the crime but the cause.

BLM March? GOOD

Lockdown protest? BAD

Got it?

We can only rely on ourselves.

We must, to quote Johnson - and I hate to -‘Stay alert’ to groups and individuals purporting to act in the name of decency whilst concealing a rotten underbelly.

I don’t know about your grandad who fought in the war, but mine wasn’t a massive racist.

Just as the Muslims I know in real life are peaceful people who love their kids.

The same applies to Jewish people I know.

The same applies to military personnel I know.

To put it simply…… humans get caught up in shit their government did.

And most people, are alright.

Just Ordinary Joes wanting to live out their lives.

This weekend, I’m going to honour HUMAN BEINGS indiscriminately with my smile.

Whatever flag they bear, whatever uniform they wear.

The poppy is red.

There is red in the Palestinian flag

There is red blood running through Israeli veins and the veins of every other person on our planet.

Let THAT be our common ground.
