October spits her coffee out
In angry bursts of brown
She storms into the Nursery
Tears September’s playhouse down
.
Gusts roar forth as rasping cough
To clear swollen throat of earth
But do not cry, for all must die
So nature may rebirth

This is one of my favourite photos of my son. I took it a few years ago when he was small. His colouring lends itself beautifully to Autumn. His hair glints with copper and russet. His eyes are the darkest brown.
When he was little, I loved it when he wore autumnal shades so my eyes could play on his feast of beauty in its sort of, ‘clothing natural habitat’ 😂😂 and in Autumn…….well…… it was like beauty in beauty in beauty.
He seemed to match his surroundings, a handsome Autumn chameleon….
