Bravo! Well said. I can't imagine how hard the decision to get in the ring was for the "actual" female fighter....working tirelessly to get a chance to go to the olympics to then be faced with the choice to step out because the other person isn't the same gender or step in knowing the game is definitely not rigged in your favor. It's horrible all the way around. Cruelty is the new normal. I guess men can now hit women as a pinnacle of achievement.

A few are speaking up. One of the Irish female boxers has said she’ll refuse to fight a bloke. I think she’s the title holder. Sharron D is speaking out which surprised me as she’s commentating for the bbc in the swim pool so could have kept her head down. She’s got Barry McGuigan on board too. The consensus is athletes should withdraw all together in protest against the IOC decision. If they don’t it will just continue. I know that many of these ladies have intimidating, obsessive male coaches who push for glory come what may. The whole Olympic thing has been a debacle, maybe it was meant to be who knows these days. Where are all the women who think they’re blokes trying to get into male sports I wonder? 🤔
