Do not fear chaos.

For chaos made the world.

The earth wears history as beautiful butterscotch scars that shaped her. The stitches she endured as tectonic plates smashed and heavens clashed, sit proudly as rows of bumpy mountains and deep snaking canyons.

When she could not heal, she not only made art of her weeping volcanos and bubbling geysers, but had them power her.

Do not fear chaos.

For chaos helped make US.

Babies birth in the grim bath of blood, sweat, piss and tears. Amongst the vibration of the rawest, darkest moans……. the beautiful cry of a new infant triumphs - fresh and made of love.

We live in uncertain times, frightening even.

Whether you believe events stem from ‘fate’, coincidence or design; perception is everything.

You cannot opt out of chaos.

But you can work on how you conceive of it.

Chaos is how we test our mettle.

The child fears the stinging nettle.

The wise woman knows not only how to pick it, but how to turn it into healing tea.

Laugh at chaos. See it for what it is - a graffiti artist spray-painting your subway in angry black and sizzling red - bombarding you with messages and distractions.

The media, people around you, systems…..

They all stamp their feet and demand of you like a toddler. They pitch for your attention with their circus of imposing shapes and shit tagging.

Know what?

Your heart may beat a little quicker, you may feel a little scared but observe this rise within yourself and MOVE ALONG.

Keep walking.

For this ‘subway’ is not home.

Calm is your home.

And to reach it, you must first navigate chaos.
