I find solace in nature too Julie. It can also be cruel though. I v much enjoyed these and your perspective.

Goodness gracious, these poems were awesome, Julie. Oh yeah, the photos were very nice💖

Thank you so much Jo Ann. As you know I don’t niche and write all kinds of stuff but the poems are always the most personal so it always means the most if anyone compliments those x

They’re always so meaningful, Julie❤️

Yes. Please break these up. One needs time to reflect, time to savor the flavors of what ones just consumed before intrusion of the next course.

I will make it a project to do this for you.

It always feels a bit weird putting one measly poem out into the ether, like pushing a lone, tiny child on to a big stage….

“SING you little bastard!”😂😂

I have done it when it’s a happy poem but I don’t write that many of those.

Never mind me. I was likely being contrary for the sake of being contrary (which I'm told can be inferred as being a "dick"). Apologies.

Meanwhile, poems for me are more easily digested as singles, viz., like music from old Motown groups. One 3 min song can ring louder and longer, over many years, than whole albums of classical, rock and jazz.

My favourite poems are concise, yet profound. Yours are exactly that, and I think you might consider representing each on its own in meme or short video formats.

Spit ballin' here.

Thank you Charlie. I am having a think about the way I do my Substacks anyway so I will incorporate your observations into my review. :)

I think these are some of your best, as I can relate to each situation. Very nice pictures, too, along with the introduction. 'Habituation' made me think how our governments and bad politicians want us habituated to oppressive governments and their crooked ways.

Good work.

I appreciate your thoughts, Carl. Yes I can absolutely see that ‘Habituation’ is relatable to our crooked government, people have come to expect the worst these days. I love nature and taking photographs so the task was in putting the right image with the sentiment. I have so many photographs. All these were taken in the last month.
