Carnival of Spring
Fog begs the limbs of jutting oak
For one last chance to cling
She’ll wrap around her winter cloak
Until green tongue of Spring
February fades, gives up her numb
New carnival is coming
A feast of life born crumb by crumb
I hear March drummers drumming
Each scream of warm scribbled on bark
Has one resounding message
“See light in every tunnel of dark
For time is but a passage”
Beautiful ❤️ I love the Spring. My favourite time of year. I will continue to always try to see the light in every tunnel of dark. x
This poem sounds lovely and I could hear it every day and never tire of it. It springs from your spirit and talks to mine
